Facilitation and Consultancy

NHS Health Scotland provides a range of consultancy and facilitation to meet the needs of individual Health & Social Care Partnerships and Community Planning Partners. This work can entail reviewing and giving feedback on strategic documents to ensure that an area is addressing health inequalities in their plans and decision making, facilitating discussions and prioritisation sessions.

Facilitation and Consultancy Support - NHS Health Scotland

The Insititute facilitate a huge variety of different conversations from a mediation between two people to conferences or meetings of 500+ people. The meetings we facilitate tend to fit into one of the following categories:

  • Team/Group building
  • Strategic planning
  • Action planning
  • Evaluations
  • Consultations
  • Project management
  • Working parties, committees and boards
  • Conferences
  • Conflict resolution

The Institute also offers consultancy services to teams, services and whole organisations seeking to initiate change processes or those trying to effectively manage a change process that is faltering. Institute staff work with ornganisations to understand the change(s)  to be introduced and then provide tailored advice, and if necessary can facilitate a process, to ensure  planned changes are successful.
